Joseph Michael "Joey" Richter (born July 31, 1989) is an American actor, singer, and internet personality. Richter co-starred as Ron Weasley in the fan-parody musicals, A Very Potter Musical(2009), A Very Potter Sequel (2010) and A Very Potter Senior Year (2012) with Bonnie Gruesen and Darren Criss, created by University of Michigan theatre group, StarKid Productions. He starred in leading roles in two other StarKid productions: as a fictionalized version of himself in the musical Me and My Dick(2009) and as Bug in Starship (2011). He portrayed McDoon, Cow, and various other role in The Trail to Oregon! Richter graduated from the University of Michigan in 2011. Richter also performed on The SPACE Tour along with several fellow Starkids. In 2012, Richter performed in Starkid's Apocalyptour.
Joey performed as Grunt in StarKid's 2016 musical, Firebringer, as well as starring in Spies are Forever, a musical he created alongside fellow StarKids, Brian Rosenthal and Corey Lubowich, as part of their group, the Tin Can Bros.
Most recently he starred as Ted in StarKid's The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals.
